Outlive was founded to help people live healthier, longer lives. By fusing smart data with a wealth of healthcare expertise, Outlive acts as a “personal health coach”, to allow you to optimise your health with data-backed medical reports.
Outlive’s digital healthcare app is used to populate a library of user healthcare data that seamlessly connects to Outlive doctors. These doctors then convert this data into monthly reports within the app, providing insights, and actions, for a user’s health.
Through tech, Outlive is making optimal healthcare smarter and more accessible, for all.
Outlive needed to build a digital healthcare app through which users could order blood tests, connect to smart wearables (such as Fitbit, Google Health, and Apple Health), record ongoing data, and access personalised healthcare reports.
They also needed technical expertise that could evolve Outlive’s vision from an idea into a fully-fledged, reliable, and easy-to-use healthcare interface. That same expertise needed to help guide the strategy of the build, to ensure Outlive customers could make healthcare-informed decisions for the long haul.

Outlive had a challenge. While its founders had an exceptional concept in hand, they lacked the technical expertise to fully realise their idea. They also needed a partner who could build a complex and scaleable healthcare suite that could be easily maintained by a self-funded startup. This made React Native, Expo and Supabase a natural choice for Outlive’s requirements.

They also needed a team that could present complex technical challenges in an easy-to-understand way, so looming issues could be spotted, planned for, and mitigated.
As a result of their in-depth experience building healthcare applications, and their inviting approach to development, Outlive landed on Morrow to build and guide its design.
Morrow’s React Native, Expo and Supabase expertise - combined with their experience in balancing budget with quality - allowed for an app that could truly evolve a user’s approach to healthcare.
Morrow worked to deliver a healthcare suite, with a focus on creating something scalable, cost-effective, and easy to maintain. While the application needed to be intuitive to manage, it also had complex requirements to ensure it could successfully integrate with healthcare data providers, deliver personalised reports, record lifestyle data, and schedule blood tests.
Working closely with Outlive, Morrow successfully built a fully operational app in just 9 months, thanks to a light-touch product development approach that accelerated problem-solving, simplified complex engineering challenges, and maintained exceptionally high standards and scalability.
Morrow also collaborated closely with Luna9, a UI/UX agency focused on the branding and design of Outlive’s offering. Luna9 took responsibility for the design of the app and its branding, while Morrow provided the technical input needed to realise the app’s full potential.

This first iteration of Outlive’s healthcare suite will help bring its accessible healthcare vision to the wider world while providing a strong foundation to build from. Still working closely with Morrow, the ‘personal healthcare coach’ intends to make improvements to the platform - alongside major updates penned for next year.
